3×3 Basketball: Paris 2024 Olympic Games – Schedule announced
The official schedule for the highly anticipated 3×3 Basketball Olympic Games is now available. 3×3 will return to the Games for the second time at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games from 30 July to 5 August 2024 at the Place de la Concorde in Paris.
The world’s best 3×3 players will compete in eight men’s and eight women’s teams over seven days of exciting competition. Held at the iconic Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris, 3×3 players will showcase their talents against a backdrop of some of Paris’ most iconic landmarks, including the Grand Palais, the Champs-Élysées and the Louvre.
While COVID-19 restrictions prevented fans from attending the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, spectators in Paris will be able to fully experience the excitement of 3×3 basketball at the Games and play a central role in creating an unforgettable festival atmosphere.
The 3×3 competition will feature eight men’s and eight women’s teams. Each team will play against each other before a play-in for teams ranked 3-6, with the top two teams advancing directly to the semi-finals. Teams 7 and 8 in both pools will be eliminated.

The top two teams will go through to the semi-finals, while the 7th and 8th placed teams will be eliminated. The remaining six teams will compete in the play-in, with the semi-finals and medal matches all taking place on the final day of the competition, 5 August.
The 3×3 competition will share the vibrant Place de la Concorde with skateboarding, BMX freestyle and breaking, promising an electrifying urban atmosphere for players and spectators alike. The 4,700-seat open-air arena will be the stage for world-class sport and passionate fans.
